Before you flame me for ruining my older siblings mind, I say I didn't do it. He himself wanted to buy retail at a brick and mortar store with something that he didn't build himself. Now I need to know if he can upgrade it with a graphics card to make it a little bit decent. me

OK, I need to know if you think it will work in playing games if I buy this-
http://www.compusa.com/products/prod...pe=pi#moreinfo
and upgrade it with this 7600 GS-

Do you guys think the upgrade will work?

(Oh, and am I posting in the correct section?)

So far it looks fine but the tech specs on that page do not show what watt power supply that pc has. If you could find that out it would help. Other than that its looking good.

Yeah, I'm concerned about that. Oh well, I could probably get him a $35-$50 power supply that would work and he wouldn't care if it didn't work

Sucks how the motherboard of store bought computers won't allow you to overclock. =/

I wouldn't even try to upgrade the gpu without getting a better power supply. Having worked on quite a few of boxed machines like this one they usually put the bare minimum in for power and that 7600 will take up quite a bit more power than the integrated chipset.
