I am glad not
to be an American, I can only feel for those of you who are. :S
watch the sky’s. what happens in the US can often get mirrored by the EU, although this time i think even some EU leaders are startled by the depth of this. The UK however have also been involved according to the independent the security services apparently get 100million a year from the nsa to help support the joint operations.. so your data is mined and filtered aswell im sure and due to a complete media blackout on the story very few 'main streamers' know about the same sort of thing happening to them in the uk due to state controlled television. Also recently nearly passed was a law filtering of all internet content from ISP's in the UK including 'esoteric content' which loosely means blogs / forums who might talk against a government.
in the end, people are far too consumed in the technology the realise that it needs to be treated with extreme care. Can you blame governments if most people would rather bury their heads in the sand, post their lives on facebook and watch x factor, never vote or contact a local mp?Edited by Pip Boy - 8/8/13 at 4:27pm
