I agree, but the same is true now (as it always is prior to launch and even the weeks following).
Microsoft announces or changes features with what seems like bi-weekly announcements (like increasing the GPU clock speed), and Sony only seems to announce counter features to whatever Microsoft announces (i.e. "Microsoft's doing something questionable? Well, we're not! ::thumbs up:: ).

There's no way to know how things will play out, or what the final systems will look like, or even what features will be included and/or utilized until it actually happens.

A critical PS4 shortage or any 0-day failure, for example, could easily lead to Xbox gaining the advantage and vice versa.
It's fun to speculate, but the truth is no one really knows what'll happen.

EDIT: Looks like Microsoft just removed the Kinect requirement for the Xbox One. This is getting interesting.
