Thanks for the idea, but for me its two issues:

1- Its a lot of money
2- It uses more power

Home AC of course costs a lot to run, but it will run whether or not I have it plugged into my computer. A chiller wont.

It seems like my condensation fears for an external setup have been irrational, as I havent had any issues with cores going all the way to 8c.

I've got another rad coming [120mm Monsta Single] for the top of the FT02 and a Koolance 35X2/dual pump, so I'll have the real thing set up soon enough. Still waiting on that dang EK VGA block..

when money is an issue.. go ghetto.. build ducting out of cardboard and some guttering "liberated" from a neighbours garden shed smile.gif

Its an aquariumchiller smile.gif

unfortunately the small units are a bit underpowered for constant hammering with"hot" cpu & gpu. it will switch on a lot and besides making a rackett, it will wear out faster. And the large units are a bit pricey.

It might work if you hook a large ... and i mean LARGE - like +25 gals reservoir in the loop
