Looking to Renovate my Desktop

Thread Starter
I built my desktop in 2009 for coding and mid range gaming, since then, it has gotten a bit on the sluggish side. I am looking to upgrade some parts to get it back into shape and would like some advice about what parts to pick.
My taste in games is (what I assume to be) mid range. I am looking to be able to play modern games (Guild Wars 2, currently) set to medium graphic settings and a 2560 x 1440 resolution.

Parts that I need advice on:

Graphics Card:
Current: SAPPHIRE 100265HDMI Radeon HD 4830 512MB
When I bought this case, this card was driving a single 1080p display and playing games from 2009. Now it is driving a 2560x1440 display as well. It is holding up surprisingly well, but many games only run smoothly on low settings. The new graphics card will be dedicated to running the 2560 display while this card will run the 1080p monitor and any other display that I get in the future.

Memory:
Current: 3x 2GB Crucial DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600)
Planned: Adding 3 sticks of 4GB DDR3-1333 (whatever brand name is cheapest)
I generally hover around 4 GB of usage and can occasionally use up all my available memory. The additional RAM will help with tasks like VM hosting. Since my motherboard takes up to 6 sticks of RAM and max of 4 GB per slot, might as well fill the empty slots with the biggest modules the board will take.

Case:
Current: GIGABYTE GZ-X2BPD-500
My biggest issue with this case is that it is cramped, so I am looking for something larger than 18.82" x 16.14" (current). I have an ATX motherboard and this case leaves little room between the end of a 3.5 inch hard drive and the motherboard.

Other parts that I am adding:

Storage:
Current: Hitachi GST1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive, Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive
Adding: SanDisk Extreme 240GB SATA III Solid State Drive
I am planning to move my OS install to the SSD and set up the current 1 TB drives as a mirrored RAID to use for storage.

Remaining parts:
If anyone is curious about the rest of my computer, I am including it. (Click to show)
CPU: Intel Core i7-920 Bloomfield 2.66GHz Quad-Core Processor
It is overkill most of the time, though I have pushed it to almost 100% playing around with brute force attacks on cyphers.

Motherboard: ASUS P6T SE LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard

Power: Corsair TX650W
Cheapest power supply at Best Buy after my old one went down to a literal ball of flame.

DVD Burner: LITE-ON CD/DVD Burner

Wireless: EDIMAX EW-7727In Wireless Adapter 802.11b/g/n

I'm far from an expert builder but for graphics I would say a amd 7950. Ram is relatively cheap right now. If you burn up ram just go ahead and replace it all with 1600mhz 4gb sticks... Gskill seems the popular brand lately. I pick my cases by look more than function usually so I'm no help there. Is what I would do though. Without knowing budget is hard.

For your GPU I would be watching deals for AMD cards, they have been having awesome deals. There was a 7950 on Newegg for $200 AR yesterday. They are dropping prices on everything, plus the new drivers are supposed to be good.
