https://www.centrecom.com.au/acer-aspire-s3-391-73514g25add-nxm10sa005-133-led-i7-3517u-windows-8-4gb-256gb-ssd

For $699 Australian, stuff is expensive down here...

Anyways it's an Ivy Bridge i7 ULV, HD 4000 Graphics and 256GB SSD. Battery life seems below average and the design looks ok.

I'm looking for a university laptop, just to web browse/watch movies/Facebook/email. Don't care too much about GPU cause I have my computer but the HD4000 should be capable of some of my older Steam games like Bioshock.

The main appeal of it to me is the SSD, wouldn't mind a snappy OS.

I dunno about good deal, but that's a sexy af laptop.

A good price for an Acer S7 with an i5-3317U and 128 GB ssd is $650 here in America, so that is pretty good spec-wise. However, I am pretty sure that the S3 and S7 are totally different beasts outside of specs (you would have to look it up, I need sleep).

S3 is the little brother of the S7 and I think it's mostly plastic.

Little worried about the battery life but without Wi-Fi, low brightness it should be sufficient to get through a day of uni?
