Is the ASRock Z87 Extreme4 a good motherboard for i5 4670k?

for a motherboard that can overclock and under 140$ gaming?

also is xfx 550 watt enough to Oc 4670k at around 4.5ghz with thermal compound and evo 212? and 760 OC? will i have problems?

For me AsRock is always my first choice. They give a lot for the price. No gimmicks just plain business for a great price. The only thing I don't like about AsRock is the poop colored PCB. With regard to your power supply, yes it's enough,just don't go SLI or anything like that and that should be fine. You'll probably be near the peak of your PSU's threshold though.

I have the Asrock Z77 Extreme4-M and I really like the board!
(Previous Gen)

The only thing is the PWM control takes a bit of work/getting used to

They use decent FETs on Z87 Extreme4 unlike Z77 one. So it's above average board, but I've heard they're still having issues with voltage reporting which is weird.

It all depends on what you need, and how much you're willing to spend though, but for what listed it should be fine.
