The reason I prefer liquid over air is that the air coolers take a lot of space in your case and will prevent decent airflow making other components suffer for the sake of cooling your CPU. With the H110 you won't have any problems like this plus the heat gets transferred to the RAD,away from the other components. Closed loop systems like the Corsair especially are known to be quite reliable as well, so no maintenance is required and you need not worry about leaks.

when you choose CLC you have lack of VRM cooling, possibility of leaks, more pricey, more noise given by a pump working,limited life-time for 5 years, all this with air cooling doesnt happen
