Please help with core dropping issue

Thread Starter
I have a AMD FM2 750K quad core and noticed in task manager that not all my cores are being used at the same time and 1 or 2 drop out during tasks.
Its like task manager is spliting the task between 2-3 cores but randomly switch what cores are being used every few mins so no cores are bad.
Never can I get 4 cores to remain going and stay going all the time for tasks.
It doesnt matter what program I use either it happens on every program??
I am using windows 7 64bit version.
I have tested this overclocked and not overclocked and its the same issue.
Its like windows is parking my cores??
How do I fix this issue??

you should use a stress tester to load all cores, like intel burn test or something to make sure. Sometimes some programs wont utilize all cores. Here is where I got the info to disable core parking for my amd processor, should be same for yours:

Should use hwinfo64 and post temperature readings while under load and voltages

Yep I am running prime95 64bit again now for several hours now and am not having any problems same with winrar all core are used...
Its like every other program and game seems to only use 2 to 3 cores and parks my last one.
some times 3 cores are parked and only 1 is in use..
That is the oddest thing I have ever seen.
I dont have this issue with my core i7 920 LGA1366??
Also in prime95 not all core finish each test at the same time.
Like core 4 will finish a test then core 2 and then core 1 then core 3??
Is this normal??

Thanks for the link to that program it worked perfectly!!
I also bumped up my NB to 2200Mhz and now its cruzin along nicely with no parked cores.
Makes a huge difference when multitasking when the cores are working like they should:thumb:
Thanks again!!
