I am about to buy an Fractal Design Define Mini for $40 and the guy who is selling it is also offering 3 GT's for $20, do y'all think it's worth it?

Things going into the case:
2500k with U12P or CM212+ unless they don't fit
Matx Gigabyte Board + 16GB Kingston Ram
HIS 7870 GHz IceQ
Seasonic 560w Gold PSU

$20 per? Or $20 total?

Because if $20 total, that is an absolute steal and 100% yes you should get them if they are in perfect working condition. Be sure to see if you can test them though before buying.

Definitely. Just verify that they work.

Yes, it is $20 for all 3, is there an easy way to test fans short of plugging them into a pc, he wanted to meet at a mall (which seems fine, I wouldn't want strangers in my house), but I dont want to bring my desktop to a mall to test the fans.

If you own an extra power supply and fan controller (like me) then bring those to the mall and he'll surely be impressed. wink.gif

If you dont, you can buy one; save the receipt, then seriously just return them the same day and just say that the products you bought just wasnt the one you wanted and you need more time to think and almost always the customer service rep will just be like "ok" and accept your return for a refund. (be sure to check return policy - im referring to a best buy/frys/microcenter .... something like that)

If youre good with soldering you could always make your own wire or splice some wires up and connect a 3pin female to a 12v DC - 110v AC adapter..... bring that..... he'll also be really impressed....

Not sure what else i can suggest... thinking.gif

Thanks for the advice, I bought 12v dc to ac adapter at BestBuy (no stocking fees) and used a cheap sfx and a fan controller to test them. They all worked wonderfully!

The fractal case is awesome, and the GT's made it even better.

Thanks for all of the help everyone!

Thanks for the info, that PWM guide is awesome, too bad I only have the 1450rpm GT's, but if I ever get some of the higher one I will be sure to make them PWM thumb.gif
