vMod nv40?

Hi hi, I'm new to this stuff so plz don't flame.
Alrght, I have 6800XT 512Mb DDR2 256bit video card that I managed to oc to 430/920 (325/700 is stock) before started getting artifacts. Temperature doesn't go up above 65c under heavy load so I want to vmod it to try to get it to 500/1000 if possible.
Chipset is nv40 so I managed to unlock extra pipelines which makes it 16/6, and also with oc to 430/920 my comp. recognizes my card as Ultra o.O
Anyways, I downloaded Nibitor, and after finding my Bios I have option to change voltage from 1.1v to 1.4, however I can make it smaller (1.2, 1.3) to try first in Volt editor.
So I need to know, how to back up my Bios frist before doing anything, and in case something happens, how do I switch to old Bios in case my comp wont boot?
Ohh, I have Ram sinks only on one side, so do you think it cools the other side as well? I installed some fans on the cooler itself to keep it cool, but I'm not sure if memory is cooled enough...I know my GPU is, since I have massive Zalman passive cooler on it. So how do I backup my Bios, and would it be safe to switch to 1.4v right away?

Please instruct me,

Thank you!

Hah, never mind, its actually easier then I thought.
So far I managed to clock GPU to 500 on 1.3v from previous 1.1v with no artifacts, however my temp. got up to 85c under heavy load so I'm not sure if I should clock it down...is it safe?
I left my memory at 900MHz because not all memory chips are covered with ram sinks, only one side..
I'm using this thing for cooling: http://www.atruereview.com/zalman/index.php

How hot does memory actually runs and does increased voltage for GPU affects it at all? There is no temp. for memory anywhere displayed in RivaTuner, so how far do you think I can push it?

Anyone?
