i.e. every spec you hear and every release date is complete speculation or fabrication.
It is likely that they will be 20nm and will apear in April. Actually quite possible.
Wait?! Complete speculation or fabrication in the RUMORS and UNCONFIRMED section of the website? No way man! I would have never thought of that......
Seriously though; they are holding a huge press release about the new GPUs in about a month. AMD isn't going to sit there and divulge the details of the new hardware and then wait until April or next year to release them. Typically your hardware announcements are not too far out on actual hardware launch, a month or two in most cases.
While AMD might have thought about waiting until Q1ish of 2014, due to a number of issues with the foundries, it doesn't mean now that the issues are resolved that they haven't moved plans. Especially considering Nvidias position in the market right now with 700 series and Titan; it would be insane for AMD to wait until April to try and compete with Nvidia. That would be giving Nvidia nearly a year of no competition.Edited by PostalTwinkie - 8/11/13 at 1:44pm
