Does anyone know if this game has a realistic clutch or if it's in the plans? I think this is something that can be done and would add so much to the realism of the game. Here's what I mean:
- When you're stopped and ready to start, if you release the clutch instantly and the car's horsepower isn't enough it should stall.
- You should be able to start the car without pushing the gas, by releasing the clutch slowly. Not uphill with weak cars though.
- PUT REV MATCHING INTO GAMES!!
When shifting the car's chassis should move according to how well you shifted. It should either drag you back or ahead, or stay in place in case of a perfect shift. You would have to shift like in real life to stay steady in corners (if you wanted a good lap) and those who can will feel rewarded. I so want to do heel-toe on a G27!
You could also powershift but without any consequences (this is a game after all).
I've been coding for quite some time and I don't think something like that is difficult to implement. I would really love it if someone who has a WMD forum account posted this over there for the devs to see. Edited by Daredevil 720 - 8/11/13 at 3:02am
