First time building a gaming PC, any advice/suggestions welcomed! ($1000-budget)

Hello,

So I've done a bit of research and asking around to help build a $1000 gaming PC, and this is something that was recommended to me that I've made a few tweaks to: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1qp98

I changed the memory from PNY to Kingston based on reading some feedback, and I changed the video card from an MSI Radeon HD 7950 to an MSI GeForce GTX 760, mainly based on numerous recent reviews of the radeon card dying on people, and they seem to perform very similarly with the GTX getting a slight edge for gaming.

I will not be needing a mouse, keyboard, or monitor, but otherwise would be open to suggestions on how this build could be improved. Thanks a bunch.

At around that price, you can get a 7970 now. Everything else looks fine.
