aren't those generic fatboys chrome plated? when you have only copper, brass and chrome in the loop then you could probably use simple distilled water with phn biocide and be same well ... you never used silver kill coil either, correct? if your fittings are nickel plated though, then most likely your coolant premix is doing it's job well!
all components you listed are an ideal setup with no nickel plating anywhere nor silver
my XSPC generic shiny barbs are also chrome plated ... but the XSPC dark chromes are not (judging by stop plugs of that alloy).
the real problem however is mostly related to much more expensive compression fittings of most popular BitsPower brand and especially the Shining Silver or Dark Sparkle ones (chrome looking) that corrode ... or as matter of factly their Silver or Gold plated fittings corrode ...

and uh, i have a dd fatboy that lost its plating. kinda bummed me out cause i had no spare barbs at all. last time that happens.
yeah, I read those reviews stating same thing "buy extra ones as they leak and that's a hit & miss" style. I had 2 BP Dark Chrome 45 deg rotaries(the short ones), but they were used and old and loose too .. and leaked at certain angles ... could be that Alphacool replicated the bad design of BP style improving only the plating on them LOL!
Are DD Fatboys Nickel of Chrome plated?

I had both BP shiny sensors corroded as well (way worse when exposed to copper sulphate and vinegar at same time). from the research I did, all shiny others on market from all vendors are still Nickel plated ... or even worse ... steel plated!
The ones I took new in recent order were BP Black Matte ones, will see if paint coating makes them any better or at all ...
Pricing varies, but those stores have them in stock:
