I havent tried single monitor gaming.

Fresh install, Win7X64 SP1

I am out of ideas tbh. It seems it is quite common, as such but other games, older cards and drivers. Not latest gear.

Thank you all for your help so far.

Well I must have got 2 crap cards. Just my luck.

If I under clock them both, by 50 then I do not get any problems even after 3 hours + of DayZ/Origins

Temps are really good, max 46 degrees under load after 3+ hours.

I can loop Uniengine Valley for 2+ hours no issues with +200 on core and +100 mem maximum, above that it locks up.

But I CANT use those settings in DayZ/Origins, within 30-60 minutes "No DVI Signal".

At stock, 2 hours max before "No DVI Signal".

EK water blocks, followed the instructions to the letter, EXCEPT putting TIM and Thermal Pads on the VRM's, I just put the pads..............

I always luck out on computer components.

This is your problem:
https://www.google.nl/search?q=Display+driver+stopped+responding

I've had it numerous times aswell. It's a strange and annoying error.
What has always worked for me is one of the following solutions:
1. Downclock your card(s)
2. Increase the voltage on your card(s)
3. Remove display drivers from Windows Control Panel untill Windows recognizes your card as 'Standard VGA Adapter'. Then reinstall drivers.

The last one does not really apply to you, since you've just done a fresh install.
Hope this helps a bit!

The "Clean install" option with the Nvidia drivers would not work?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think that option just removes the current driver, then reboots and installs the newer driver.
The problem is that Windows caches drivers. So when you remove a driver, it recognizes you have another driver version stored in the cache and it will use that driver.
So with the clean install option you'd basically be doing an upgrade from the previous driver version, instead of the current. So it's not a real clean install.

I have not looked into disabling the driver cache, but I would imagine that would bring a host of new problems with it.

Thanks,

Appreciate the input. As you mentioned under clocking of the cards worked.

Oh well $1200 EACH, and they are dogs.

Thats life I suppose.

First of all your "Losing VGA signal" is called a driver crash. Here is what to do:
  1. 320 drivers are more unstable than previous. Try a complete driver uninstall. Here is how to.
  2. And then install 314 WHQL.
  3. Put all PC components to stock voltages and settings. Reset CMOS
  4. If driver crashes continue, test each card individually to see which one is the problem. If crashing with stock settings & voltage a RMA is possibly needed

Again thank you ALL for your input and ideas.

I decided to download the latest drivers, 320.49. Within seconds of playing DayZ Origins, I got the loss of image on all 3 screens and "No DVI Signal".

I then downloaded the latest Beta drivers 326.41, fresh install including removing all traces of drivers in safe mode.

As soon as I spawn into DayZ Origins, not even a second, loss of image and "No DVI Signal".

Cards are underclocked, temps are NOT an issue. To me it MUST be a setting in "Manage 3D Settings" in the Nvidia Control Panel, that DayZ is not happy with.

One by one, I changed the settings and finally I found the culprit. Antialiasing FXAA - ON, it was Off. Now no more issues biggrin.gif

I can now overclock my cards and it still runs ok thumb.gif

One thing I did notice in the latest driver though, is a Lower Overall clock speed with the same Clock Offset selected:thinking:

To get the same clock speed on the 314.22 drivers, I need to increase the clock offset by +50 using the 326.41 drivers wackosmiley.gif

Why would that be?? Something they have forced via drivers for stability???

Cheers

Rob

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but the issue is still raising its ugly head.

Anywhere between 5 seconds and a few hours, lose the DVI signal, sound remains, have to reboot. Sigh.

Dont know what to do mad.gif

it might have to do with some settings within the Nvidia control panel that might have been changed. Any new installations ???
