Multi monitor, Second monitor lags while first monitor in fullscreen appllication

Hello,

Having an issue when running a fullscreen application like Games, my second monitor is lagging.
I was planning to game at the first monitor and the second run a Twitch stream. But having a fullscreen application like games, just makes my second monitor have low fps like 1 or less.
Some people say Windows 8 is capping the fps when running fullscreen applications.

I use Dual DVI 120hz at the first monitor, and 60hz HDMI at the second.

Any suggestions what I could do to fix this?

Thanks

"This is basically because of the design safety in Windows 8. In order to save power for battery powered units Windows 8 designers put a cap on the framerate of Windows running in “background” with full screen applications."

Windows 8 says no to dual screen. Best fix until windows repairs this issue is to run in windowed mode. Most games have an option to run in fullscreen windowed mode, usually it looks the exact same.

There is a patch out that may fix it i found it here:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/a58ed78b-544d-4109-862a-73467ab96873/windows-8-pro-with-2-monitors-video-choppy

here is the patch:

It might not work but it worked for the guy in the above windows forum link who had the exact same problem
