Need help with upgrade

Thread Starter
Alas, I am tired of my 6950 making me sweat since it runs at 95C when playing any game that puts some "Load" on it, therefore It needs to be replaced.

My budget is exactly 266 euros for a graphics card. Now, I am skeptical with NVIDIA and I avoid them like plague since I've had a great experience with their amazing GeForce FX series.

So what I basically want is a card that fits the requirements of:
- Being not too loud
- Running not too hot (Below 70C preferably)
- Able to fit without compatibility issues in my pc.

Also, My whole machine is also AMD-based, you can view full details of my rig in my sig.

I would like to thank everyone who's willing to help me out on this one.

For maximum performance for the cost you're probably best-off with an AMD 7 series. I would recommend whatever Twin Frozr MSi card is in your price range. Other good cards are the ASUS DC2, and the Gigabyte Windforce cards.

get a HD 7950 with a good cooler like sapphire dual x or his iceq x2 or gigabyte wf3 or msi tf3. stay away from ref HD 7950 cards. the cooler is loud and does not cool well.
