Would like help on wc sli cards please

Thread Starter
Hi.

This is what I intend to cool. I will get 2 EK blocks with backplates, and connect them to my current cpu and rad setup. Thing is, I have a 360 x-flow rad up there, and worry it won't cool well enough - obviously, I want to oc the cards aswell.

What do you suggest? I'll order the parts from specialtech, and would like some input and suggestions on how best to add these 2 670 to the loop.

Also, I would very much appreciate it if some of you would point me at the best fittings I should get.

Thanks oc.net.

Hey mate, I've got a 360 xflow rad in my loop, oc'd 1090T (4.0) and 2 6850's oc'd (900/1100) and even after 6 hours of intensive gaming the cpu barely nudges 50 C and cards stay cool at 45 C, it more depends on your loop as a whole (blocks pump tubing fans etc etc).

Hope this helps, and cool on thumb.gif

Kind regards

im using 1x120 and 1x240 also from Hardware Labs, so similar to yours ~,
3x noctua fans
4670K @4.5ghz 1.25v delidded(19 degree temp drop)
GTX680 @ +140mhz.

I idle at 30 (ambient 25) and full loads avx stress test at 70~,
gaming: CPU 60-65C, GPU 45-50C

I wouldnt add another GPU to that mix, but I guess if you got a lower OC + 6 fans instead of my 3. you might be able to pull it off.

If it was me, I would add more radiator space to be safe

a rule of thumb: 1x120 pr component + 120, CPU + GPU + GPU + 120 = >480

but 360 migh work.

You can always add a 120 mm rad to the back at your exhaust port of your case or even put a 240mm on the back
