PowerColor HD 6970 compatibility

Thread Starter
Hey, OCN.

I currently have a PowerColor HD 6970 graphics card in my system and have recently been offered a good price by my friend to buy his PowerColor DEVIL 13 HD 6970 to CrossFire it.
My only concern is, as it is a slightly different model, would it be compatible?

If anyone could help me with this, that'd be great.

Thanks.

As long as it's a 6950, 6970 or 6990 regardless of model or manufacture it will work.thumb.gif

I WOULD sell that 6970 and buy a 7970 and then Cfx in a nearby future

that 7970 is very cheap compared to the quality it has

I understand your concerns but I am going to university in about a month so I need to save money but I can a second 6970 for less than £100 which should hopefully last me the next four years.happysmiley.gif
