Discussion: DFI Lanparty UT CFX3200 vs. ABIT AT8 32X

I am ordering my motherboard tonight. This review suggests that the ABIT AT8 32X is a better buy, considering the price.

Newegg discontinued the DFI board. Someone linked the DFI board at eWiz for $140, which I am still considering. If anyone has the ABIT board, please give me some details on overclocking.
I am ordering very soon!
Also, opinions on this cheaper board, based on the Xpress200 chipset, don't really know the difference between the Xpress3200 and the XPress200.

The A8T32 (3200) supports 2x16 cards, where as the 200 series does 2x8. Furthermore the 200 doesn't supprot SATA3 and has been known for lack luster USB perfomance which may have been cured but I'm not aware of it.
In general, the 3200 has the latest features/options, where the 200 series is a bit lagging the afore mentioned attributes and is simply older tech... not that it's a bad product, just a bit dated.

Some other little things on the Abit and probably other simular versions.
If you ever intend to have a Physics card and 2x16 that won't happen, the needed slot get obstructed with dual vid cards. Dual cards also tend to hamper the nearest PCI slot so if you have a need for more than one PCI card your out of luck.

Thanks for the input, I ordered the Abit mobo last night. I don't have any PCI cards, so this won't be an issue. I may get a physics or sound card in the future, but I doubt it. I will definitely be going Crossfire as soon as I get a better job with more $$$$$ (retail, BLAH). Thanks again for the input Duke, you are an awesome mod! Keep the input coming, especially those who own the Abit AT8 32X mobo, as I would like to hear your complaints/praises.
