I never had them myself but I haven't heard anything bad about these guys... they sit right at your price ceiling so I dunno if you're okay with that.

Pieces of crap that break within about half a year. Also, far to bass heavy and it really muddles your kids and highs. I'd personally know because I went through 4 last year until I decided to do research to find the best sub $100 iem.

The single best iem under $100 would be the Vsonic GR06. I've tried a ton out (local store allows me to test iems) , but it has no peer sub $100. Thing sounds better (clearer) than iems twice it's cost (or more). You should be able to find it around $55-70.

Listen to this guy - I'm not too knowledgeable on IEM's and I didn't bother doing any research really, just told you what I'd heard from word of mouth.

Head-Fi Stuff

Looks like they're pretty well respected over at head-fi, and value seems to be pretty amazing.

VSONIC GR06 on Amazon

Here they are on Amazon, about 10$ more expensive than the S4i's but you're getting way more per dollar than the S4i's will give you (according to Kinaesthetic and head-fi)

Slightly over your budget, but I picked up some Shure SE-215's in January. So far, I love them, but I had only used cheapo's in the past.
