Samsung evo on preorder deal, save 20%, are these worth it?

I'm in the market for an SSD and I was thinking of going with the the vanilla for 99$, but then I realized I could preorder the EVO for http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147247 just 10$ more. Is this worth it? Are these preorder promos usually worth it?

Great. They jacked up MSRP just so they can say it's discounted. rolleyes.gif

From the Samsung Global Summit (AnandTech):

Don't get me wrong, the 840 EVO is a good drive and I reckon it's well worth the extra $10 over the 840. A bit annoying when retailers resort to these kinds of tricks, though.

Newegg has been doing this for quite a while and most commonly ssd's none the less. They'll probably inflate the higher capacities like they did the m500 for the 960gb.
