Cooler for New rig

Thread Starter
I have the following parts to build a new rig

i5 4670k
Z68X-UD4H
2x4gb Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600mhz
Samsung 840 120gb SSD
GTX 770
Corsair HX750
2x1tb Samsung F3
Nzxt Source 210

I purchase an H70 for $40, but it was the core model with no fans. I have an RMA setup for it, but I have to pay return shipping on it. Should I Just keep it or return it and buy a new cooler?

If so what do you guys recommend? Im not stuck on the closed loop, but I would like one. I spent way more on this rig than I wanted to, So I think around $70-80 is the max budget. I have been looking at the corsair H100, H110, Kraken, etc... even silverstone has a new dual fan cooler, but those are likely out of the budget now.

What would you guys recommend, I have been out of the game for a while and Don't know about the new coolers. Any thing I should look at and start researching? I kind of want to order this ASAP so I can get my rig assembled completely.

Thanks!

H100i and the H110 are both well recieved on the market. I think there's something weird with the spacing (20mm?) Whereas the nzxt x60 has 15mm. Not sure.

But from what friends say both the h100i and h110 are great. Easy to install etc.

Personally I wnt for the x60 so I didn't have to casemod or anything dready like that tongue.gif
