the most obvious ones are aimbot, and no-spray.

Aimbot means you are always aimed at their head.

no-spray is when your scren vibrates like crazy, because your gun is avoiding the "spray" effect that happens when you fire a gun more than once...the bullets won't go in the same place (this hack gets around that)

then there's wallhacks, speedhacks, maphacks...stuff like that...

I guess I could make my own no-spray hax by jerking my mouse while shooting like crazy.

Most wallhacks originated as modified Directx link libraries (.dlls) that prevented particular function calls from properly drawing walls and such. Hacking isn't completely gone, but its definitely riskier than it used to be. I think VAC2 (in the case of CS) has more or less made it tough for the casual hacker to get by without risking his account.

My cousin, who was always in cal-m tounaments, used to casually hack in his free time. I dont think he was proud of it, but he just felt like it after a heavy competition, and would eff around. *shrug*. I KNOW he doesn't now, because of the way VAC2 bans.

Theres a bunch of hack out for Bf2 you can see on U tube.
You can see through walls and it color codes enemies to light up red and changes color based on if they are behind a wall or not. Theres other ones that let you knife enemies from a distance like a gun and kill them instantly. It’s pretty sad that people develop this junk to spread all over th internet and ruin great games.

I stopped playing halo2 a while back because I couldn't stand the loosers modding there boxes and DLing hacks so they can ruin everyone online experience. If they wrote the hacks them selves I'd be impressed but since there just DLing them to p!ss everyone off it makes them look lame. Its usually the trash talkers that act like there something special but it really comes off making them look dumber to me.

Honestly.. anyway you look at it, if you cheat or hack online, your a flat out looser.

If you play a certain game long enough it becomes very clear when someone is using some kind of *TOOL* to get around normal human barriers.

Example:

Player A has been playing a game for 3 years and shoots 43% of his targets. He has been playing in a gaming league for 2 years.

Player B has been playing a game for 7 days and shoots 95% of his targets. He is using a trackball.

Player B is clearly "HACKING".

=)

This is pretty much what a hacker sees.
I can download some hacks and try to play versus bots to show you how it is in CS:S or 1.6

I know where to get those hacks but there's NO way I'm telling everyone, because I want our CS:S server completely hack free.
I haven't been using hacks for a good time though, so don't expect it to be miraculous if you ever set me to show hacks, lmao.
