GTX 780 2 way SLI vs 3 way SLI

Thread Starter
Are 3 780's worth the cost? I'm going to be playing games at 5760x1080 on hopefully med-high. My main concerns are GTA4, BF3, and BF4. I'm going to be getting a Intel 4930k (When it releases), and a Corsair AX1200.

With current scaling? No.

And two GTX 780s are going to offer you pretty much all the performance you are going to need at 5760x1080 if you are doing 60Hz.

Two GTX 780s are going to destroy anything that is going to come out for the long foreseeable future. Especially at 60HZ surround.

I started off with this setup

i7 4770k
Asus Maximus Gene VI
32GB Corsair Vengeance
Asus GTX 780
Silverstone Strider 1000w

AT current specs, I play ultra on 1920x1080 at 110 fps with 144hz display, my plans are to switch the case and mobo and go TRI SLI 780's. Ive ran tri sli setups before with GTX480's and GTX 8800 and loved them. Noticed a very nice increase. Why not just change the mobo on your current build and throw in another 680? and do some minor OC?
