Oh!, and PWM would be awesome.
Just a thought.
The Corsair SP fan has been out for a while and they don't even have a 140mm variation. I would think if they intended to make larger variations they would have done it by now. I would imagine, being a notably significant company, they must have already tried as demand for good SP 140mm and good SP 180mm/200mm fans is significant enough to market them. Perhaps it didn't scale well, I don't know, but I doubt they will have a 200mm variation.
The Silverstone AP182
is an amazing fan that should be usable with a 200mm port. You may need a 200mm to 180mm grill plate, but it is FAR superior to ANY 200mm fan out there.Cool Master has a nice 200mm x 30mm fan
, at 150CFM at only 900RPM, but I can't track down any information on it's static pressure. It would be good for a 200mm case fan, but I wouldn't put a radiator on it. Judging by the fan blade design, and the RPM I would think it would have fairly low static pressure.Yate Loon also has a nice 220mm fan.
(it has 200mm screw mount spacing) It has good airflow, but sub-par static pressure, so it's a no go for radiator use unless you do push/pull. They sell a model with blue LEDs installed, and if I remember correctly they sell a model similar to the blue one, but with LED mounting holes instead, so you can use your own color, but don't quite me on that. I may be thinking of a different fan.
I would try and avoid the BitFenix fans at all costs. They look kind of cool I guess, but not only is their airflow rating pretty low, but their static pressure is so low you will only get a fraction of it's rated airflow, assuming you have a grill/filter on it like most cases would have.Edited by ZytheEKS - 8/12/13 at 5:40pm
