And those links did no good for me since im not much of a big reader.

Yep. I peaked Skyrim at 3800MB VRAM on 5760x1080p.

Also, you don't have to read, instead scroll down below the card's photo and pick your benchmark from the drop-down menu. tongue.gif You lazy man.

Edit: Here, allow me - Metro: The Last Refuge, 1920x1200 - 66FPS vs 80FPS, respectively for 680 SLI vs 780 SLI.

on different systems with different drivers . . . . its only good to compare on the same system/drivers .

I'm sorry, this is as close as it gets. It is extremely hard to find somebody to pair and review a broad arrangement of expensive GPUs every time a new chip/model hits the shelf.
However, even on a presumably newer, better performing system, you can still expect relative performance and form a decent idea. Maybe drop 5-6% performance?
Regarding drivers - according to release notes in the R300 there is 5% optimization in SLI scaling for Metro 2033 whilst in the R320 there is an additional 6% improvement in performance for Metro 2033.

So assume 0.87-0.9 x [performance of 780 SLI] and you are very close to an accurate estimate.

Having owned a Surround setup in the past, and the fact that you are not a big reader, I can tell you one absolute truth without requiring any further effort on your part: if you expect to maintain the highest performance possible in Surround, expect to pay a premium for relatively small gains.

Now with that said, fortunately, you are only pushing around a 6MP resolution, which is MUCH easier to drive than the 12MP resolution, that OP used, in the thread NateST shared. With that said, if you are basing your memory usage on Skyrim with texture packs, you should ask yourself is that the one and only game that should determine your purchasing decision?

If you happen to play any other game, especially in stock form, the GTX 780's represent a much better value that can easily drive your resolution.

In case you happened to be in the mood for some good real world information, and get the motivation to put more effort towards reading wink.gif:
