Crossfire Performance Issues

So I upgraded My processor to a 8350 thinking MY 1055t was bottleknecking the to cards. I also have the latest beta driver from AMD that supports frame pacing. This is not a frame pacing issue for me. The CPU isnt bottlenecking anything its running around 70%. Im running 2x Asus 5850 Direct CU cards. Both cards are running at 50% and constantly dropping in frames and then spiking to 80 and back down to 30 and is just plane awful. A single card runs the game better.

So I have a M5A99x R2.0 Motherboard with 8x,8x crossfire. Im starting to think this whole crossfire deal is a scam. Is there anything anybody can help with with to get these cards running at 100% and actually increasing performance?

Try running a synthetic benchmark that will put your GPUs at full load and see if you still have that problem. (unigine or otherwise)

I already ran Firmark. It gives me exactly double the performance. Its just for some reason battlefield 3 actually runs worse then with just a single card.
