Where are u going to get the lanes to feed your cards? I had no problems feeding tri 7970s but I ran a ws revo and let the multiplexer do its thing.

As far as I understand from this review (http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Graphics-Cards/Frame-Rating-Catalyst-138-Brings-Frame-Pacing-AMD-Radeon), Catalyst 13.8 driver fixed the frame time issue for only up to 2gpus at this moment. As you can see from this review, triple crossfire still shows frame time issues. I myself still own my old HD5870/5970 setup. I am thinking to use it for my second computer but still waiting for the fix from AMD for triple crossfire. If you would like to go to triple crossfire for HD7970/7990, I think that you had better wait for the fix from AMD. Frankly I think that getting the second HD7970 to go to dual crossfire is a better solution.
