EVGA GTX 680 SC Sig2 - OC question

Thread Starter
Hello! Today my friend got his new card, the gtx 680 sc signature2 from EVGA.We started OC'ing and with the current settings in MSI Afterburner,we achieved 1254mhz stable:
Power target: 125%
Core Voltage(mV) : +12
Core Clock : + 85
Memory clock: +200
How is this for an overclock? I don't own a 600 series card so I don't have anything to measure his results with.Is this an amazing,an average or a low/terrible OC?
The weird thing is..When we insert + 130 on the core which results in 1300mhz boost ,no matter the core voltage(even +100) the card still isn't stable. Are we doing something wrong or has the card hit a wall or something?

That seems like a reasonable OC to me. My brother's 680 is similar. You can't expect to just add any amount of clock and assume it's going to be stable, so it sounds like the limit to me. Although, you should see if you can OC the memory more. Lots of cards can do +500 and it usually helps FPS more than the core.

You could also try a new bios on the card to let it get to 1.212 volts. It usually adds 30-50MHz to max OC.

My EVGA 680 sc runs max at 1254 mhz no matter what I do. I modded the bios to 1.212 v and can't get past 1254 MHz.
