EMERGENCY WITH H60 edition 2013 : very high temperature

Thread Starter
I bought H60 2013 edition 2 mounths ago, i have a Core I5 4670K to default frequency and the temperature before was already high but maybe normal ( or not ? ) :

Tamb 31-32°
36° idle
74-75° with 1 minute of Prime95

When i return to vacancy after 2 week and i change the mainboard the temperature is changed, i thinked about Qfan setting but nothing and now this is the situation :

Tamb 29
38-39° idle
84° with 1 minute of Prime95 ( with Tamb to 31° the max temp is around 93-94° )

PS :
I tryed to dual fan pull / push but improves only 2°
I tryed to change the thermal paste but absolute nothing
The radiator is hot, the air exhaust is really hot, and the tubes is hot and pump run high rpm.

Your answer is different motherboard, and Intels new chips run super hot at load.

Or upgrade to a H-100 and forget your problems.

yeah I wouldn't expect anything earthshattering from an H60 especially with haswell. As said by stuntfly upgrade to a H100 or even a good aircooler like a D14 and your temps should improve.

You did not buy a k version for no reason. You bought a H60 for no reason. The h60 is nowhere near enough of a cooler for a haswell chip. These new chips run so hot that people take the stock heat spreader off off the CPU just to get colder temps. An h80 at minimum is needed for your CPU. An h60 or 50 is really only good enough for an i3 and in general lower powered processors. It is not going to cut it for a real chip. My H50 is barely enough to cool my AMD FX-8320 at 4.2 ghz. If I push it any higher and put a load on it I hit max temp almost instantly and the CPU throttles down. Look at this and other forums to see what coolers people are running on their 3570ks 3770k and you need at least something that good for yours. And I say at least because haswell chips run super hot.
