Continuous Beep Z87X-UD4H Mobo

Thread Starter
I've been running the board since Saturday. Yesterday and Today I've gotten a random long continuous beep when in windows. I thought it was a fan warning or something of the like but I can confirm that the board's alarms for fans are shut off. I'm still trying to figure this one out. I noticed that the case open feature was set to open so I reset it and now it says it's closed. Could that have caused the issue? Voltages were all set to auto as well... and when I checked them they looked ok. I bought it at microcenter so I have 30 days I think... I'm keeping an eye on it. probably will run the thing quite a bit now between now and my last day to return it. Hope it was just the fact that it thought the case was open... but the fact that it picked it up both times when I was in windows for quite some time. Anyone got any suggestions... otherwise I LOVE the board.

The LCD debug displayed A0 the whole time... and is still displaying A0... even while I write this. Which means everything is OK if I remember correctly. I flashed the BIO's yesterday so I am current. I just reset the BIO's with the onboard button a few minutes ago as well... and then made the changes I said above.

I also am having the same issue. Bought the GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-UD4H motherboard about a month ago, but just built my rig last night. The first boot was fine and I ran it about an hour, but when I took it home (built it at my father's house) and started it, I got this long continuous beep. I wrote down all the codes on the motherboard, but it never gives an error code. Just sits on AO *IDE initialization is started*. It boots to windows just fine.

If I Google "GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-UD4H continuous beep", there are no answers! Please Help!

Continuous beep means something is up with RAM. Since the rig was moved, try to reseat the RAM.
