Getting odd graphical glitch showing up on my Asus 7970 Matrix Platinum (even with updated AMD Drivers), Anyone know what this is

A friend mentioned this site to post this issue before re-sending my GPU card back to Asus. I own the ASUS 7970 Matrix Platinum. Sent it back once saying I had weird texturing appearing on my screen and they sent it back to me stating nothing was wrong with the card (I assume they just put it through a crazy stress test).

I intend to send it back, this time with pics like the one I attached here, but first wanted to see if anyone has run into this situation or seen this sort of thing. I assumed the updated drivers that AMD just released two weeks ago would have cleared this up, but no less then 9 days after installing them the issue came back.

Is there a fix to this sort of thing?

Btw, I'm running it pure Stock Settings on the GPU. Have not tried to OverClock or customize. This issue literally started the minute I installed it into my computer.

My Build:

OS:Windows 8 Professional

Case: Corsair 650 D
replaced stock fans with Noctua ones etc.

Power Supply: Corsair AX1200 Gold

CPU Chip: Intel Core i7-3770K Ivy Bridge 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA
Cooling:CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Water Cooler

Mother Board: ASUS Maximus V EXTREME (Z77)

GPU: ASUS MATRIX-HD7970-P-3GD5 Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition

Storage: SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series MZ-7PD512BW 2.5" 512GB SATA III

Memory: CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM

I would probably send them the visual evidence and ask for a replacement card. But it is good that you ask.
Someone help this guy out if there are other ways to fix this.

That seems like a bad solder joint or failed Vram.

He means hardware... maybe it's likely but refer to the below first.

Disabled hardware acceleration in browsers, players, and flash yet?
