Hey guys just built a brand new gaming pc and 1440p monitor.

I am interested in over locking this card, does any1 have experience over clocking this card and how far I can SAFELY push it ?
Also any tips are greatly appreciated

On average, most 770's seem to be maxing out at 1300MHz core and 2000MHz memory.

Is that stable to run games at those specs?

Maybe, depends on your card.

Every card is different but it comes down to basically wich cooling the card will have! If you use stock voltage any clock you can manage is safe, just oc it a bit at a time, up the mhz and then scan for artifacts. Repeat until you got artifacts or card gets unstable.

In your case, cause you dont seem to know much about ocĂng i would just use stock voltage and try max overclock from there. Dont flash the card or so.

What is the best way to scan for artifacts, should I just overclock, play a game and wait to see if I get artifacts?

Is there a program I can run and watch to see if artifacts appear?

Also how do i know if the card gets unstable?

The card has the windforce 3X fans so cooling should be no problem at all

OCCT with error checking is a great tool for testing stability.
