SO, ive been running into some issues lately where my computer just dosent seem to perform as one would expect.Ive ran benchmarks and the benchmarks show/say that the cards are running well above(overclocked) average performance. But then when put into practice I get the stupidest fps lag in most games that I just cant come to figure out why.Things are playable but not quite what I expect when friends with worse computers are telling me they have no lag at all.

I have a Gtx 680Classified over clocked to around 1250~ And 3600.
My cpu is a intel 2600k Up at 4.5Ghz
Below is full Info on the computer.

If anyone can shed some light to what it could be I would really appreciate it since this has been going on for a while and cant seem to figure it out.

Give us a game, your settings/resolution, and fps. Also if you're having trouble revert to stock clocks and close any overclocking utilities, sometimes they'll interfere. I've been hitting 15 FPS in metro last light if precisionX is running, still not sure why.

Is this a new problem or have you always dealt with this?

Also is this just a gaming rig? You have an insane amount of memory.

Normal games:path of exile,Torchlight 2.These are both Arpgs that usually brought clutter all over the screen.

Today I tinkered with it a bit I turnt off CPU core parking.Took a look around and turned on Evga precision K-boost witch to be honest did give me a little bit of a improvement.

I do have my computer in high performance mode energy wise, and aswell in the NVidia control panel.

In most benchmarks I have well surpassed the card/Cpus average (to be expected since overclocked by a good 10-20%).

But for example torchlight 2(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWSWgzemqgU)(thats just some random game so you can get a idea)
Fps Normal no monster on screen scenario it will be running around 120Fps(vsynch off)Or 60~Fps (vsynch on)

The second a couple mobs come around my fps just dip well down to 30~ and in worse scenarios less As well as having a good amount of micro stutter making the responsiveness pretty "meh".

Im running in 1080p.

Edit: The Huge amount of memory was from multiboxing games in the past.

i have this feeling that you are experiencing the same problem i was when i had my cpu at 4.5 running a slight bit too low on voltage. Maybe try bumping up the voltages ever so slightly might improve your fps. Too little voltage for too fast a clock = bottlenecking the overclock.
