Would temps be a concern going that high? She peaked at 59c at 4.0 ghz under load

What cooler are you using?

Check if it's seated properly because my temps at 4Ghz during p95 reached a max of 51c on the cores and that's with the Hyper TX3. The Hyper 212 gives at least 10c lower temps than the Hyper TX3.

Strange, I have had it on and off a few times as I thought I put too much thermal grease and was cautious of over tightening the clamp at 1st, might clean it all up at some point and use some new grease.

What about windows power settings now? I noticed that with performance power it doesn't park CPUs?

I ordered a thermalright true spirit 120m rev.A for my rig smile.gif I will show you how it goes

I was able to reach a very stable 4.5ghz after reading through this thread, thanks everyone! redface.gif

Processor temps are staying around 35c and TMPIN2 is at 50c.

Ok now i got my new cpu cooler biggrin.gif

I bought as said above a Thermalright True Spirit 120m Rev.A
I am using on it a Coolermaster JetFlo 120 Red

At the moment i'm stable at 4.2 ghz (1,280v) bus speed 200 ht speed 2000

I think this should be ok for daily use

Since I'm selling this PC i wanted to see just how much i could get out of this neat little chip and budget motherboard.
I was able to hit 5GHz with an occasional core failure and slightly above 70c after an hour in prime95, so i dropped it down to 4.8GHz and it has been running fairly cool and very stable since.

I'd really like to get it to 5GHz if anyone has any suggestions.

edit: Just realized i had the cpu fan pulling air from the heatsink back into the case rather than pushing it out the back. My cpu and tmpin2 temperatures dropped about 5c when i flipped the fan around rolleyes.gif

edit 2: I noticed the board started making a whining noise while the voltage was set so high to accommodate the 4.8GHz OC, so i set it back to 4.5GHz and lowered the voltage significantly. The whine is now gone.

Here are the settings i used, and the case/cooler:
