Isn't ddr4 coming next gen? Not much future proofing.
4gb if you intend to use multi-monitor setup.

Yeah I love the case. Its a rock. Big as all hell, but solid steady performance from the fans. Yeah DDR4 may come out , but will be hella expensive for a while. By the time I get a chance to upgrade the system again, the new will have worn and several reviews will be out and I can take my time to cherry pick, so to speak. I usually try and cover all the bases. I took your advice on the card too and paired it with an ASUS Maximus HERO. Now its just a waiting game...wait till I have enough to bring it all together. Thanks you guys again for the help.

8GB is the sweet spot for gaming at the moment, and 16GB is twice that so will be more than enough for a while to come. Gigabyte have the best graphics card cooler to my knowledge, with the highest stock clocks (GTX 760), and tom's hardware have a good comparison of all the models.

GTX 770 and 16GB RAM is more future proof in my opinion than GTX 760 and 32GB of RAM

In any case, have fun biggrin.gif

8GB is way overkill already, also:

I have a buddy over from a Czech Site and he did a round up review with the D3H. What is significant is that the D3H has the same VRM, exactly as the UD3H. The boards compared against aren’t the same price range as the UD3H, but they just show differences in design, and you can expect the UD3H to act like that on FLIR test.

The Z87X-D3H or Z87X-UD3H are a bit cooler-running than the G45 (they have similar MOSFETs as on Asus high-end ROG boards), not that it matters a lot but if you can get one of them for the same price and if they have all the features you want (I think they should) I would get that instead.
