http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cooling/2012/09/26/thermaltake-water-2-0-performer-pro-reviews/2

It uses FX-8150 overclocked to 4.4 GHz @ 1.325V for their testing, their results indicate that H80 on their test-bench performs better than H100 confused.gif

following is a screen-shot of their AM3+ comparison chart
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

And H80i is definitely better than H80

H80i better than h80 ? I personally would tend to disagree. I have an h80i and compared to it's equivalent that doesn't use "corsair link"(h80) it has some disadvantages. That software bugs when used with other hw monitoring tools, the only differance being you have fan/pump controller coming with it (to me) dosen't justify the issues.

Actually you're right. Software fan control does have issues.

But I think there might be a way to set the fans (& pump) at max without software. I'll be running my cooler at 100% all the time 24x7 because my room isn't air-conditioned and ambient temps are normally 28-30 C.

Correct, the only way I found to do so (I'm sure there are others but this is what I did and worked for me)
- Boot from a portable OS or other HDD (windows based as link is only available in .exe)
- Install link there and set fan profile to MAX or 100%
-Boot back into your everyday OS and fan profile should stay where it was set before @ max + profit from not having that horrible service running smile.gif

If suppose I install the Corsair Link, set the maximums and the uninstall it..will it work??

Or is it gonna revert the h80i to its factory settings after uninstalling Link

You guessed right, I just don't get it tbh -_-" Not useful, I get why It'd remove a profile by default, but why not give the option ? Or just fix the damn software so it 1- doesn't crash constantly 2- takes about 95% less load on a system (the memory space wow :O) than it currently does, for monitoring software its just outrageous loll I should write them a letter !! xD

Is this a problem with all liquid coolers because almost all of them use software control as of now. Or it's just the corsair link problem. If this is the case then I may go for tt water 2.0 pro

Not aware at all of this someone that knows water coolers more could comment, I knew for the corsair one as I did much research when I had issues with it, but if intent was to run h80i @100% running 24/7 who no get the non i ? =/

Is it possible to keep the radiator out of the case, if it is possible then I would very well go for H100i or H220/H320 as a long term investment. The only problem with this is the radiator fan connections! I should be able to connect them directly to 12 VDC from the PSU

It'll also look good if the case is open biggrin.gif
