Fixing Memory Timing

My ram is suppose to be running at 9, but for some reason it is runinng at 11. I tried to change it, but the interface for overclocking confused the crap out of me. I have the GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 motherboard. Does anyone know how to set the timing on it? Or should I just use some software to do the clocking for me?

UPDATE: I went into the BIOS for one last look and I finally figured out how to get the memory to get to 9. All I did was change the timing. Is there anything else I should be looking for when fixing it?
