Ok, so Phanteks got back to me pretty quickly. I received the right part earlier today. Now, I'm trying to install the cooler.

BUT, the screws with the springs on the heatsink won't reach the screws on the mounting bracket (the one attached to the motherboard). I can't even push the springs down far enough AFTER taking the heatsink out of the case. What am I to do?

Never mind how I managed to get it to fit; that's not important right now.
Do I need to use the y-splitter to connect both fans to the motherboard, or can I connect each fan to the board's two 4-pin cpu connectors?
Also, from what I can tell, my mobo bios does not support the Asus Fan Xpert feature for the cpu optional fan connector. Can I still use that connector without any major problems?

Well, I'm up and running. If I run into any problems, I'll just post a different thread. Thanks for the help, all!

Good to see you are up and running. thumb.gif Was middle of night here and was sleeping. biggrin.gif

Curious as to what the problem with the crossbar spring screws was??

Yes, use the splitter and PWM adapter to CPU_fan header. This will allow the fans to be PWM controlled by motherboard.

The springs were so resistive, I could not get the female screws to meet with the male screws. So, I used some pliers to weaken the springs a bit.
