noob question: how to install radiator...

Hi I have what i think is a dumb question but I'm brand new to w/c so hope you can help out.

Trying to install an alphacool x45 radiator. I have rad->fan->case. For some reason the screws that come with the radiator whilst long enough, the heads are too small and go straight through the fan holes on the case. So am I missing something or do I need to buy washers?

The holes in the case are probably from large self threading chassis fan screws. rolleyes.gif They're really common for mass produced cases with factory installed fans.

You'll need washers for that, you had the right idea.

Tiny little buggers.. stopped my build dead in its tracks last night. Off to the hardware shop for some bloody washers.
