Gigabbyte Z87X-OC problems??

Hey guys, just got the OC board (not the OC Force) and I'm having some problems getting everything set up.

1) When I boot my computer and enter bios (after loading optimized defaults), my cpu is running at 43 multiplier and 1.38 vcore! Problem is I can set 35 multiplier in bios and say 1.2 vcore and turn these settings "on", and I can see them apply in the left hand cpu status panel after hitting apply, but once I switch tabs (say to performance, save and exit, etc.), it turns these settings off again. Even if I use save and exit from that page, the next time it boots it doesn't save any of the changes and I have to do it all over again (infinite loop).

2) I have attempted to flash the bios using QFlash. When I try this with the latest bios (F6 i Believe), it detects the USB drive and I can see the file, but when it goes to run the file I get a popup box with some Chinese/Japanese/whathaveyou characters with an OK button or an x in the corner. I have tried hitting both with no effect (assuming error message).

3) The only setting that stays set are the XMP settings for my memory, which load every time and display the proper voltage and speed.

4) Not sure if this is relevant or not, but the turbo light on my motherboard is on. Could this have something to do with why I am not able to boot at stock settings?

Current Bios Version is F3
Interesting side note: I can see the settings I apply after "save and exit" in the dropdown boxes after it reboots from saving settings but they will not stay "on" (little tabs in UEFI bios).

I know I'm probably missing something obvious but any help is appreciated! I haven't even been able to install windows yet because of this. doh.gif Specs are in sig.

I'd definitely turn that Turbo button off, and try going into the Bios again. See if you can change the core multiplier and voltage then. I think it should work.

If that still doesn't help, I'd turn off the PC and take out the CMOS battery for about 10 minutes. That will reset all BIOS settings to default.

(You probably know this already, but don't forget to first unplug the power cord, turn off the power switch and ground yourself! thumb.gif )
