compatibility issues YES maybe.

BUT, it's easily avoided by disabling some C-states in the BIOS. Basically, to save power to the extreme, Haswell goes to sleep almost...really low volts..some PSU don't like it...if you disable that "CPU power saving option" you're ok with the PSU...

The question is: do you need and/or be willing to use that low power state?

What delavan said.

also, the nex 650g is an overpriced mediocre unit, you should check out the FAQ recommended power supply thread. If youre looking for around $120 you can get a much better one.

My own PSU, the original XFX 850 Watts 80+ silver black edition (single rail, Seasonic design) doesn't show on XFX's compatibility list....I don't break a sweat, I'm no power saver....well I care, but I like OC'ing, running dual cards, 3 AC's running in the house...you get the picture!

I'll still check if the low C-state is supported by the PSU, but I would NEVER buy another one to cure the issue!
