Indeed, a little more waiting then.

As for the drivers... that's what concerns me, I don't hear great things about AMD's software!!

AMD's drivers are absolutely fine. I've actually had much more problems with my nvidia drivers compared to AMD drivers. i've had to roll back to a driver released in the beginning of the year so eliminate my artifact problems with my 570.

It took a few months after the introduction of the 7000 serie to allow the cards to perform at their full potential, as we know them right now. That's what I meant when I mentioned drivers, AMD always had problems with drivers frown.gif

HD 9900 series are based on an enhanced GCN architecture (GCN 2.0) . since GCN drivers are quite stable and well performing AMD should not have issues with HD 9900 cards. by next month even the phase 2 of CF frame pacing drivers which bring frame pacing to DX9, OpenGL games and support for 3/4 cards and Eyefinity should be available. so even multi GPU should be very good. single GPU has been good for a while now.
