Having used an HX-750 (80 Plus Silver version) in the past, I can tell you that the Rosewill Capstone's and Seasonic M12II's are significantly quieter in fan operation. Based on that, you won't be disappointed by the Seasonic G series as well. thumb.gif

Also, you should definitely replace your surge protector if it has been through a lightning strike. They are only meant to survive once, and can be flaky if kept around afterwards.
