Well the monitoring software can set up a cooling profile, where it controls all the fans and receives rpm feedback, so depending on system requirements the fans go from full speed right down to zero and anywhere in between, if it isn't PWM then its the best voltage fan control I have ever seen biggrin.gif

Can you let me know how I can tell whether it's using pwm or not? I suppose I could hook up a non pwm fan and see if it behaves the same.

Simple, take the red and black (12v & ground) out of fan plug and connect them to yellow and black (12v & ground) on molex from PSU. Than fan gets 12v directly from PSU while mobo receives rpm signal and sends PWM signal. If fan only runs full speed it's not getting a PWM signal. wink.gif

sounds like a little project, I will have a blast and get back to you smile.gif Any connectors in particular or just all 4 pin ones on a mobo?

Don't understand the question.

It's ok, I was wondering if it affected all the 4-pin connectors but some research showed me the answer.

The evidence to my lack of PWM on all connectors is actually in the manual
The CPU and CPU_OPT connectors are both PWM
the CHA_FAN connectors all have just a +5v rail on the 4th connector, so you are right about it all Doyll
