The PC version of November's Call of Duty Ghosts will be getting a little extra development love, according to the game's executive producer, Mark Rubin. As a result, it is probably going to be the best-looking version of the game, which has not been a given with this series.
Especially with the fact that blops2 had DX11 features that the consoles obviously didn't have.

"Now, PC has its own set of assets," Rubin said. "It's going to look better than any Call of Duty we've ever made on PC."
.......Of the PC edition, he said, "They're actually using an even higher version in many cases than the next-gen consoles, from a texture standpoint."
Yep I wish it had dedicated servers and mod support. Then I would probably consider buying it. Although the chances of getting mod support from any CoD game nowadays is like worse than winning the lottery.
I've got it: they're either going to use TressFX or NVIDIA's new hair physics on PCs.
For the dog, of course. He's the center of attention so he needs to look fabulous with his majestic fur.
well i hear what your saying but the console was running at something like 640 x 568 or something lowly like that. Also there was settings for medium and high and you can bet that the art assets although crafted to fit into a small foot print were still slightly higher by default than what the consoles got. Further more on PC unlike the console you were getting the option of 16x anisotropic filtering where as the console would be running x4 a max., better shadows, any resolution you wanted and finally you could force 8x SSAA as I did and it made it look rather clean and still ran at 60fps
So yes it was a console port but the port came from the pc assets it was developed on and you could run better specifications. I still looked crappy but miles ahead of the console
Unless this game gets GREAT reviews, I'm not touching it. BOPS2 multiplayer was lame IMHO, and the only reason I even played it is because it was a Christmas gift...

This is really the major problem with the game they think we want to pay $15 for 4 maps. And do it every year they are crazy.
I remember on some COD2 servers I was playing 4 new maps a day on average. I still don't think I ever played all the cod 2 maps. COD4 was the last PC version that was worth while. Black Ops 1 though wasn't that bad at less servers where okay. If black ops 1 had modded maps they might have redeemed that one.
Didn't they same the same thing about Black Ops 2?
