Well I am currently using an LG IPS236V and it's fine for me. I got it for a good price so I have no regrets. People don't seem to like LG very much though so might wanna take a look at it before deciding. I'm sure there are a ton of better ones out there though.

Use Google or Chrome to translate this review by =DEAD= who has reviewed almost all of the 23" IPS panels. He thinks the LG is the best

Make sure to buy from a retailer with a hassle free return+exchange policy like Amazon.

The IPS2363V uses a grainy matte coating which LG mostly no longer uses.

The Asus VG23AH is also very good, see my signature

Any reason why you don't want one of the korean 27" 1440p's on ebay for under $300?

I had to exchange two LG 23ea63 because the first one had some weird white-yellowish lighting on the left side of the monitor and the panel itself wasn't flawless, but it came perfectly calibrated right out of the box. Second one had atrocious calibration and still some minor backlighting on the bottom left corner. The stand is wobbly like I've never seen before and it's a pain to remove, although the monitor does offer the possibility to VESA mount. Both had no dead/defective pixels, so that's a plus.

Overall, I'd say it's a decent monitor for those who don't want to spend a fortune, but it just wasn't for me. I'm still on the market for a new monitor for both PC and console gaming. *sigh*

In any case, I'd pick the asus vga23h if I were you, or an eizo fs2333. The latter is a little bit expensive for a 23'' though...

Yes
Recently our Currency (INR ) vs USD had crossed the roof its now like
1 USD = 61 INR
so
$300 is like 18495 INR
which is more than twice the total budget of my i7 4770 gaming rig
So Price is an issue .............. and another thing is Very Bad Customs Duty and Import Duties in our country

So thats why

OK i understand
i called up ASUS HQ in my city , they told me that yes the ASUS VG23AH has to be ordered before hand to get it
Price 18.5k + tax (inr) but
they warned me ............... its out of production now , and it has reached its end of life !

And About eizo ......... fs2333 ................. i will look for it in my country ................. not a popular brand in my country ...... as far as the local PC hardware shops are concerned .

Any Other Monitors that i should be aware of smile.gif

Another interesting one is the LG ips237l. There's also the Asus MX239H and the AOC d2357Ph. They're all pretty much on the same level as the LG ea63, you can't go wrong with either of them.
