any idea why it crashes at higher volts? is it due to heat or does the card have a problem? I just had mine die and im looking for another immediately.

Id prefer to trade (I have a lot of hardware) but ill get up the cash somehow if I have to. First things first though, need to know that there is nothing wrong with the card. Crashing at higher volts doesn't sound good >.> but points for being honest lol

There is nothing wrong with the card, if there was it would be stated.

It doesn't sound good because it is not suppose to run at that voltage. It just more than the gpu can handle.

Anyhow, the stock bios only allows a max voltage of 1150 mv so at least now you have an extra 13 mv you can push. But at those volts you will probably crank the fan up or put
that sucker on water

take a look at these videos. I had two cards in sli and see the oc I was running them. I wont guarantee any overclocks, but you can see what I had them running at.

Not looking for trades btw

I am running 3 of them in sli all at 1225 - as you are aware they only run at 1213 but semantics. Anyhow, mine are fine at a higher voltage so I'm trying to figure out if yours is crashing due to heat or something else.

Have u checked temps when it crashes? Can you try an underclock with the higher volts and see if the temps just lock it up due to being on air? I'm not positive but I'm almost so that people on air have ran volts beyond that point as well.

I have cash, just would prefer to get rid of all my extras. Either way I need one immediately so if u can convince me it is crashing due to something other than an innate issue or problem, ill buy it today. (Tbh ill even be looking to pay for faster shipping) I don't want to replace a bad card with another bad card.
